Located in Monroe, Michigan, Dale and Lori have over 30 years combined experience in the automotive paint industry. For over a decade, Dale has been known as a perfectionist for his outstanding detail and commitment to show quality finishes. For the past 15 years, he has dedicated his talents to the motorcycle industry. For Lori, art has been a lifelong exploration. Her passion for art developed at a very early age. A self taught artist, she has dabbled in many mediums as well as working for a sign company that added more knowledge to her arsenal. In 92’ she decided to focus her talents on motorcycles. Since then their work has been featured in several magazines, and has won numerous awards for best paint. Lori was greatly influenced by the works of Jim Warren, Frank Frazetta, Chris Achilleos and Ken Kelley to name a few. Both Dale and Lori’s greatest passions are their Harleys. He owns a 99’ Road King and a 06’ Street Glide. Her bikes are her beloved 79’ Shovelhead, and her 00’ Fat Boy. Although they stay busy year round, they take 3 weeks off every year and hit the open road for a much needed road trip.
Eby Customs is not a production shop, and are committed to keeping the paint business simple. All the artwork is done by Lori, and the paint and body work is done by Dale. When there are several jobs in line, requiring many hours of body work, a friend with extensive experience comes in to help out. They only take in as much work as they can handle, keeping quality to a maximum and getting parts back in a timely manner. They also offer modifying of parts such as flush mounted tail lights, stretching your stock tanks, and most any other fabrication you’d like. With many thanks to prior customer referrals, it appears Eby Customs will continue to produce many more rolling works of art in the future.
Together, she and Dale make a great team.
