This tank happens to be from Bikers Choice, although a good company and good
service, the sheet metal still needs PLENTY of work to straighten it out.
This bike belongs to Johathan Ames of California.

After the tank is metal prepped and the gas cap area masked off along with any hole
that leads to the inside of the tank, a two part epoxy primer is sprayed on to
seal the metal off. Body fillers are applied over the epoxy.
Below you can see where the black is the the primer
and where bondo has been applied. This is just the beginning.
This will be sanded and thinner coats as needed will be applied.
Once this has been applied to almost the entire tank, it gets sanded anywhere from
40 grit to whatever you need to take on a shape of a gas tank.
When customers wonder how come come so much to “fix” an aftermarket tank,
they have no idea the hours and labor going into it.
Now we are going to sand it down (again) and start smoothing it all out.
After hours of body work, we should be getting close to more primer.
